d'good cafe ☕

You know how some cafes are located at some places that is super inaccessible without a car but D'good cafe is easy to find (once you get out from the mrt)!! So thumbs up for the location!
The ambiance is very cozy as well! Went there during lunch time and it was starting to get crowded, so we hurried off after finishing. Eventually wanted to stay there and chat with the boy :(
Oh well!
It is also pretty much self-service at this cafe and there's another level but I didn't get to explore.
Here's our mocha! (Our usual order will definitely be mocha haha)

Our egg mayo sandwich! Boyfie likes the bread (he said it was better than another cafe which I forgot) but he said the egg mayo was on the dry side! And there's too much egg yolk (he doesn't fancy egg yolk)

Our english breakfast! I like the toast and the sausage and the mushroom!
The mushroom is not overly salty (some places add too much seasonings) and it's yummy! The sausage has a very unique taste and you got to try it for yourself. It's not like the usual ones I feel?
The scrambled egg is a little watery but it's still yummy!

And this is their signature cake! Maple sea salt cheesecake! Before I went, I read up on some reviews and I saw reviews that said the cheesecake base is more towards the crispy/crusty kind and I was excited!! I hate those that are sticky and dense, so I'm always on the look out for crusty kinds! (apparently it is also quite hard to make such base)
And indeed, it is not bad. But the maple sea salt combination might not appeal to all, boyfie doesn't like it and I couldn't finish it too :( (I have a sweet tooth so normally I will finish everything sweet but I left like half of it untouched)
Oh btw, the maple leaf on the cake seems so fake right?!?!?!? But it's actually edible! Omg! It is made out of white chocolate haha, what a surprise.

We spent around $37 in total and boyfie said if the price is lower, it will be worth it.
